JGBR EU-China Cooperation Fund Project supported by the State Funds

In the late of October 2011, in the scientific cooperation project of energy conservation and emission reduction of  EU-China enterprise issued by the Ministry of Science & Technology and Ministry of Finance, Jiangsu LiXing General Steel Ball Co., Ltd. won the support of 2.75 million RMB for the project of the research and development of technology of components of wind power generation and components of interconnection of wind power ---- research and development of key technology of the design, production and industrialization of gearbox of 5MW wind turbine generator system (WTGS).

This project won the greatest financial support among the five nominated projects in Jiangsu Province, and the only enterprise of basic machinery parts among the eighteen nominated projects in China, as well as the only selected project in bearing industry in China.

After the implement of this project, the production of the “Special Steel Ball of bearing of gearbox of 5MW wind turbine generator system (WTGS)” could reach to 10 million pieces per year, which could provide about 2.5 million MW clean energy of wind power, reduce the consumption of non-renewable energy, and promote the Sustainable Development of society.
